Business and Technology Scholarships

Purpose

Wisconsin Public Service Foundation realizes the value that women and minorities bring to the business and engineering fields. Consequently, these scholarships have been established to support minority and female students who will major in those fields.

Qualifications

To be eligible for scholarships, applicant must:

  1. Currently attend an institution in one of the following states:
    • Illinois
    • Indiana
    • Iowa
    • Michigan
    • Minnesota
    • Wisconsin
  2. Be a full-time junior or senior during the academic year 2009-2010.
  3. Be a female or must be of African-American, Native American, Asian-American or Hispanic heritage.
  4. Have at least a 2.8 cumulative grade point average.
  5. Be majoring in the area of business or engineering (electrical, mechanical, civil, industrial, chemical, or computer, environmental engineering).

Awards

These are $1,500 renewable scholarships, providing the student remains in good academic standing.

Deadline

Please return the application (including your response to the essay questions) by March 1, 2009 and request that your college send an official copy of your transcript (through January 2009). Questions can be directed to Scholarship Assessment Service at 920-832-8322.
