Summer Employment

Summer opportunities are intended to provide temporary summer resources to Business Units and provide financial assistance and work experience to college students/post-secondary education.
What is a Summer Student?
Student who does not necessarily work in their field of study. Typically clerical/administrative or labor type work.
Selection of Summer Students:
- Students must be age 17 or older, a high school graduate, and continuing post-high school education.
- Suggested screening criteria:
- GPA of 2.8 or higher
- Majors (Business, Engineering, Line/Gas School, and etc.)
- Experience
- Volunteer Experience
- References
- The maximum number of summers or years that can be worked by a student is four.
- Must meet Employment of Relatives (Nepotism) guidelines. One child per family may be hired for summer or year-round student employment, regardless if relatives are employed by Integrys Energy Group, Inc or not.
- Successful completion of drug screen, background check and physical exam.
PLEASE APPLY FOR ONLY ONE LOCATION. Applying for more than one location will not increase your chances of being offered a summer employment position. If you're not offered for your preferred location, you may be considered for other locations.
IMPORTANT: Students selected for the 2008 Summer Student Program will be notified by HR/Hiring Leader no later than April 30, 2008. If you have not heard from us by April 30, you should consider all positions full. Please note that applicants who are not being considered will not receive follow up notification.
