Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer

Charlie Schrock is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Integrys Energy Group, Inc. Charlie's career with the company began in 1979 when he joined Wisconsin Public Service as an associate engineer. Since then, Charlie has assumed numerous leadership roles, including plant manager at the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant, senior vice president of generation, senior vice president of Nuclear Management Company (NMC), president of WPS Power Development, Inc., senior vice president of Integrys' predecessor WPS Resources Corporation, president and chief operating officer of generation at Wisconsin Public Service and president of Wisconsin Public Service.
Charlie has a both a bachelor of science degree and a master of science degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Michigan. He has completed graduate courses in business management at Cardinal Stritch College and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University.
He serves on the board of directors of American Transmission Company, the Association of Electric Illuminating Companies, Edison Electric Institute and Aegis, Ltd. In addition, he is a member of the American Nuclear Society and the University of Michigan College of Engineering Advisory Committee. He is a former board member of the Nuclear Management Company.
Charlie is active in the Chicago community and serves on the board of directors of Rush University Medical Center, After School Matters and the Chicago Public Library Foundation. Charlie is a member of the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago and the Economic Club of Chicago.
Lawrence T. Borgard
President and Chief Operating Officer — Utilities
Integrys Energy Group
Larry Borgard is president and chief operating officer of utilities at Integrys Energy Group, Inc., and serves as chief executive officer of each of Integrys' six electric and natural gas utilities. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the utilities, which operate across four Midwestern states and serve 1.6 million natural gas customers and 500,000 electric customers.
Larry has spent 26 years in the energy industry. He began his career at Wisconsin Public Service in 1984 as an associate engineer. He subsequently held positions in, and managed, areas including field operations, regulatory compliance, transmission and planning. More recently, he has held a number of executive-level positions within multiple Integrys subsidiaries.
He holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh. And he is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
Larry is the 2012 chairman of the American Gas Association and serves on the board of directors for the Midwest Energy Association, the Metropolitan Planning Council in Chicago, Bellin Health, the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and Better by the Bay. He is a member of the Executives' Club of Chicago and was the 2010 United Way of Brown County Campaign Chair in Brown County, Wisconsin.
William D. Laakso
Vice President — Human Resources
Integrys Energy Group
Bill Laakso is vice president of the Integrys Human Resources team. The Human Resources team provides comprehensive HR services to Integrys, including business consulting, compensation, benefits, HRIS, payroll, safety, health and wellness, labor and employee relations, learning services, staffing and recruiting and organizational development.
Bill holds a doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Indiana State University. He has extensive background in management and organizational consulting, coaching, and employee assistance.
Prior to joining Integrys, Bill was vice president of operations at the Employee Resource Center, providing services to WPS Resources Corporation for 10+ years. Bill also managed outpatient clinics and a small hospital in the early 1990s.
He resides with his family in Green Bay and enjoys active, outdoor activities and motorsports. Bill supports the community by serving on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeastern Wisconsin, St. Vincent/St. Mary's Hospital Advisory Committee, project teams for the Green Bay School District and his church.
Phillip M. Mikulsky
Executive Vice President - Business Performance & Shared Services

Phil Mikulsky is executive vice president of business performance and shared services for Integrys Energy Group. He also serves as president of Integrys Business Support, the services company for the Integrys Energy Group. He began his career with Wisconsin Public Service, a regulated electric and natural gas subsidiary of Integrys Energy Group, in 1971 in the Systems Planning Department. He was a part of the System Operating Department for 20 years, having been named supervisor in 1975, assistant superintendent in 1979, superintendent in May 1985, director in 1989 and manager in 1991. He was promoted to vice president of development for WPS Resources Corporation in September 1995 with responsibility for its two nonregulated subsidiaries, WPS Energy Services, Inc. (serving as chief executive officer) and WPS Power Development, Inc. (serving as president). He was named senior vice president of development for WPS Resources Corporation in 1998, executive vice president of development in 2004 and executive vice president and chief development officer in 2007.
Phil received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering with minors in English and math from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1971. He is a professional engineer in the state of Wisconsin.
He is a senior member of IEEE, has served as vice chairman and chairman of the Northeast Wisconsin Chapter of IEEE, was a member and past chairman of the WUMS (Wisconsin Upper Michigan System) Operating Committee, a member of the MAIN (Mid-America Interconnected Network) Operating Committee, a member of the Edison Electric Institute Interconnection Arrangements Committee, a member and co-chair of several NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) Control Center Audit teams, and a member of the Northeast Wisconsin Quality Improvement Network.
Phil actively participates in the community, coordinating and working on community fundraising activities. He served on the Board for the Green Bay Boys Choir, and is active in both leadership and support roles in his church.
Joseph P. O'Leary
Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Joe O'Leary joined the company in 2001 as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Integrys Energy Group. Joe has an extensive background in accounting and finance in both regulated and nonregulated businesses.
Prior to joining the company, Joe served as vice president — finance for United Stationers, Inc. Prior to joining United Stationers in 1999, he served as vice president — tower leasing and vice president and controller for 360° Communications, a spin-off of Sprint Corporation, between 1996 and 1999. He served as vice president and controller, assistant vice president — business development, and director — financial systems and controls for Sprint Cellular between 1993 and 1996. From 1985 through 1992, he served as general manager — telephone operations accounting and general manager — corporate accounting for Centel Corporation, which merged with Sprint in 1993. Prior to 1985, he held managerial/supervisory positions at International Harvester, Allied Van Lines, Inc., and Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Joe is a certified public accountant and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, in 1976 and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business in 1989. He also received a certificate in e-business strategy from the University of Chicago Graham School of General Studies in 2000.
Joe serves on the board of directors of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, the Institute of Management Accountants and the Financial Executives Institute.
Mark A. Radtke
Executive Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer

Mark Radtke is executive vice president and chief strategy officer for Integrys Energy Group. He is responsible for leading strategic planning and corporate development. Prior to this position, Mark led Integrys Energy Services, Integrys' nonregulated energy services business, from its formative stage to become a leading natural gas and electricity supplier operating in competitive U.S. markets. Integrys Energy Services also develops and operates clean, renewable and efficient energy production facilities to provide customers with renewable energy options that fuel economic growth while reducing the impact on our environment.
Mark initially joined the corporation in 1983 as a software/hardware engineer at Wisconsin Public Service, a regulated natural gas and electric utility subsidiary of Integrys. There he developed and implemented energy management technology, earning a patent and publishing a number of papers describing advancements made in energy management technology.
Mark received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and technology from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1983 and is a 2001 graduate of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program. He serves on the board of directors of the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra, N.E.W. Curative Rehabilitation, Inc., and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
James F. Schott
Vice President - External Affairs
Integrys Energy Group
As vice president of external affairs for Integrys Energy Group, Jim Schott directs, coordinates and leads the company's external relations efforts. External Affairs deals with the legislative and regulatory issues impacting Integrys. In addition, External Affairs is responsible for communications and public outreach.
Jim joined Wisconsin Public Service as assistant vice president of regulatory affairs in 2003. Prior to joining Wisconsin Public Service, Jim was vice president of distribution operations for We Energies. And prior to working for We Energies, he was employed by the Chicago and Milwaukee offices of Arthur Andersen, during which he specialized in capital-intensive industries, including utilities.
Jim is a graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in business administration. He also received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 1993. He is a member of the board of directors for the Salvation Army of Green Bay and the Chicago Children's Choir.
Jim lives in Oneida, Wisconsin, and enjoys various sports and traveling with his family.
Daniel J. Verbanac

Dan Verbanac is the president of Integrys Energy Services, a diversified nonregulated energy supply and services subsidiary of Integrys Energy Group. Dan helped lead the company, founded just over a year prior to his joining in 1996, from its infancy to become a leading natural gas and electricity supplier operating in competitive markets across the U.S. and Canada. He was also instrumental in leading Integrys Energy Services through its transition to a gas and electric retail marketing company focused on the northeastern quadrant of the United States. Integrys Energy Services develops and operates clean, renewable and efficient energy production facilities to provide customers with renewable energy options and utilization services to maximize the value of energy consumed while reducing the impact on our environment.
Dan began his career with Wisconsin Public Service, a regulated electric and natural gas utility subsidiary, in 1984 as an applications programmer/analyst and subsequently served as senior systems programmer, supervisor of customer information systems and supervisor of technology/platform services. In 1996, Dan transferred to WPS Energy Services, Inc., as director of technical development and implementation and subsequently served as director of trading operations, vice president, senior vice president and in 2004 was promoted to chief operating officer, where he had operational responsibility for the nonregulated energy marketing business. In late 2009, Dan was charged with leading the newly restructured Integrys Energy Services company. As president, he has operational and financial responsibility for the nonregulated energy marketing business.
Dan holds an associate degree in data processing from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and a bachelor's degree in computer science from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Dan is also a 2002 graduate of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
He serves on the executive committee of the National Energy Marketers Association and the board of directors for the Greater Green Bay YMCA. He has also been involved with many organizations in the communities where he has lived and worked.
Born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Dan has lived most of his life in northern Wisconsin. He enjoys jogging, snowmobiling, racquetball and relaxing at the lake with his family.
Barth J. Wolf
Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & Secretary

Barth Wolf is vice president, chief legal officer and secretary for Integrys Energy Group. Barth joined Wisconsin Public Service, a regulated electric and natural gas subsidiary of Integrys Energy Group, in 1988 as administrative buyer and subsequently served as risk management supervisor, administrator — risk management, and manager — legal and risk management before being appointed assistant secretary and manager — legal services in 1998. He was later named secretary and manager — legal services for WPS Resources Corporation and Wisconsin Public Service and was vice president — legal services and chief compliance officer for Integrys Energy Group prior to his current position. Before his employment at Wisconsin Public Service, Barth worked as a staff attorney for Fort Howard Paper Company and as an attorney at the law firm of Hanaway, Ross, Hanaway, Weidner, Garrity & Bachhuber.
Mr. Wolf received a bachelor of arts degree in social change and development from the University of Wisconsin — Green Bay in 1975 and a doctor of laws degree from the University of Wisconsin — Madison Law School in 1984.
He is a member of the Wisconsin and American Bar Associations and the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals. He is admitted to practice law in Wisconsin.
Barth is a member of the Community Advisory Board of St. Mary's and St. Vincent hospitals in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and is a volunteer for numerous community and church groups.
