Rosemount, MN - Recently, Minnesota Energy Resources Corporation presented a donation of $2,000 to Ed Marek, Executive Director of the Minnesota Environmental Fund (MEF) as the result of the e-Bill Super Paper-Saver Sign-Up.
Minnesota Energy Resources offered customers a tiered donation (up to $2,000) based on the number of customers that signed up for its e-Bill Paperless Billing between October 1, 2010 and November 30, 2010. "Customers responded favorably to the offer allowing us to make a $2,000 donation to an organization committed to protecting, conserving and restoring Minnesota's environment for future generations," said Ann Carlon, Senior External Affairs Manager for Minnesota Energy Resources.
The MEF is a state-wide network of Minnesota's most respected and responsible non-profit environmental, and conservation organizations working together to protect, conserve and restore Minnesota's environment through employee giving. The MEF supports organizations working to protect and restore our natural resources, improve and manage our parks, eliminate toxic threats to our air, land and water, and reduce the waste in our landfills.
Marek indicated the MEF "very appreciative" of the donation.
