Barbara A. Nick Selected to Lead Integrys' Natural Gas Companies in Minnesota and Michigan

Green Bay, WI — Barbara A. Nick has been appointed President of Minnesota Energy Resources and Michigan Gas Utilities, two natural-gas distribution subsidiaries of Integrys Energy Group (NYSE: TEG). The announcement was made by Larry Borgard, Integrys President and COO-Utilities.

Nick succeeds Chuck Cloninger, who was recently appointed President of Wisconsin Public Service.

"I am pleased to be able to continue to work directly with Barb as part of my Utility Senior Staff team," said Borgard. "Her unique perspectives and knowledge will undoubtedly make us a stronger team."

Nick most recently served as Sr. Vice President of Energy Delivery and Customer Service for Wisconsin Public Service Corporation and President of Upper Peninsula Power Company, which are also Integrys subsidiaries. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Corporate Services for WPS Resources, where she served in a number of operations and staff roles during her 30-year career.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication/Business from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay and is certified to teach English as a Second Language. She is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.

Nick has been active in civic and not-for-profit Boards in the Green Bay area and has similarly been active on a number of industry boards and task forces, both in Wisconsin and nationally. In 2008, she was named the Athena Award recipient for the Green Bay area.

She and her husband, Jay, reside in Green Bay.
